I rented a house from Ted and Katrina Thompson from May 8, 2008 until January 8, 2009. I could not have been more impressed with them. They were the most caring landlords I have ever encountered. Firstly, they take the comfort of the tenants very seriously. Every house eventually has problems be it plumbing, flooring, etc… Ted and Katrina made every effort to not only address and fix all of my complaints but to do so in a very timely fashion. Often they responded the day of my call and fixed the issue as soon as possible (at most within a week). I never had to nag them or call them repeatedly to get a response. Not only were they very responsive to my needs they also cared (and still do) about my wellbeing in general. Ted and Katrina are very easy to get along with. Unlike other landlords I have encountered they NEVER tried to rip me off, or worm out of their responsibilities as landlords. Doing business with them was a pleasure. Due to economic and personal reasons I moved back in with my parents; however, if I ever rent again they will be the first people I go to. I have not seen all of their rentals but the three I have are very nice. In my time living in their rental they did numerous improvements to the rentals on the property. I would recommend Ted and Katrina as landlords to anyone. I chose to write this letter because they did so much for me, this is the least I could do.
